Rehabacise is owned and operated by Accredited Exercise Physiologist Sam Waley.

Sam has a wealth of experience in the field of exercise rehabilitation and has operated in the Bayside area for over 10 years. Sam has a strong background working in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, cancer and oncology and also with a variety of people suffering from chronic health conditions. Sam is passionate about the need for good health and well-being and strongly believes in developing effective exercise interventions that will positively influence his client’s clinical status and quality of life.

Sam has a strong background in sporting endeavours having represented Australia in rowing on multiple occasions. Whilst he has finished competing at an elite level, Sam remains involved in elite sport and is the Exercise Physiologist for the DJR/Team Penske V8 Supercars team.

Liana Vlajankov

Liana completed her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Deakin University.  Liana has a wealth of knowledge, having worked within clinical, gym and sporting environments where she developed exercise and rehabilitation programs for individuals and groups. Liana also works as Head of Rehabilitation at ESS Performance, where she helps youth and sub-elite athletes reach their sporting potential. Prior to this role, Liana developed the rehabilitation program for the Sandringham Dragons Youth Development TAC football club.

Liana has a passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletes, and assisting those with challenging chronic musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Liana has successfully designed injury-reporting procedures, implemented exercise rehabilitation programs, strength and conditioning programs, and collaborated with a team of Allied Health and Medial staff to implement sport specific return to play protocols.

Liana is passionate about creating a fun, educational and supportive environment to motivate her clients. Liana believes creating such an environment helps clients adhere to their exercise program, and empowers them to be better equipped to manage their injuries, conditions or weaknesses independently. 

In addition to her Exercise Physiology skills, Liana has taught the Diploma of Fitness Coaching course to future fitness professionals, and has worked as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.
